The Responsibilities involved leading and coordinating the in-country work performed by the Field Team; quality control in country, ensuring accountability and transparency; reviewing progress updates and disbursement requests; undertaking initial assessment of the Financial Management and Systems (FMS) applied by the Principal Recipient and Sub Recipients and provide recommendations for the Principal Recipient so that adequate financial control is in place for the grant program;

review the Principal Recipient’s budget for reasonableness and determine any conditions precedent related to the Principal Recipient’s FMS; undertake On site verifications; review CCM’s request for continued funding, and ensure that all relevant data related to the PR’s expenditures, disbursements and commitments is consistent and up to date; building financial management capacities and systems of all recipients of Global Fund resources, physical verification of assets funded by the Global Fund, among others.
